Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program
|
Many common materials found in households and businesses should not be disposed of in landfills and can be hazardous to the environment if disposed of improperly. Leftover quantities of these products should never be poured down the drain or stored for excessive periods of time.
The HHW Collection Program is jointly sponsored by the City of Tucson and Pima County. The main facility located at 2440 W. Sweetwater Drive serves the residents of Tucson and Pima County. Materials collected through the HHW Program are recycled or properly disposed of so they do not harm people or the environment.
Please bring your household hazardous waste materials to the proper sites for disposal. Materials are accepted free of charge!
