Many common materials found in households and businesses should not be disposed of in landfills and can be hazardous to the environment if disposed of improperly. Leftover quantities of these products should never be poured down the drain, put in the trash, or stored for excessive periods of time.
Please bring your household hazardous waste materials to the proper sites for disposal.

Five Steps You Can Take
- Buy only what you need.
- Read and follow labels.
- Store properly and in labeled containers.
- Take leftover quantities to the Program.
- Use safe alternative products when possible.

Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites:
Main Site - Open Every Friday & Saturday 8 a.m to 12 noon
2440 W. Sweetwater Drive (1-10 to Prince Rd, west to Business Center Drive, then north to River Park Dr. and turn left, then right on Commerce Dr. left on Benan Venture dr. and right on Sweetwater Drive)
Outreach Sites - Open the first Saturday of each month 8 a.m to 12 noon
Eastside City Hall - 7575 E. Speedway Boulevard
Tucson Water Plant 2 - 1102 W. Irvington Road
Pusch Ridge Christian Church - 440 W. Calle Concordia
Please deliver large quantities to the Main Site.
CABOP Site - (Computers, Antifreeze, Batteries, Oil, and Paint)
Los Reales Landfill - 5300 E. Los Reales Rd. Open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m to 5 p.m
The following items can be dropped off: Antifreeze, Batteries (auto and dry), Motor oil (5 gallon maximum size), Paint (25 cans maximum) Computers (one per household, for multiple computers call 520-623-7162). Please deliver wastes only during hours of operation. All wastes should be properly identified and labeled. Containers should not leak.
